A Little History On How We Came To Be...
The Cape Cod Art Bar first began as a community art center in 2007. Founded by three artists who believed in the transformative power of art, it's prime intent was to inspire, motivate and encourage people of all ages and abilities to create art in all forms.
In May of 2007 they opened a gallery/studio in Mashpee Commons at the site of what is now Cup Cake Charlies under the name Artists For The Arts. They showed art, taught classes, hosted music events and created a community of artists & students. They offered their first 'Paint Party' at that time (10 years ago!) under the name 'Masterpiece Workshop'!
Over the years they moved, changed names and continued bringing art to the community hosting art shows, classes, open mic nights and mentoring local students.
in 2012 they became The Cape Cod Art Bar; still showing art, teaching classes & transforming 'Masterpiece Workshop' into the ever popular Paint Parties!
As always, they’ve stayed true to their original intent... to inspire and encourage people of all ages to express themselves creatively.
We invite you to stop by, browse the gallery, take a class and learn more about the power of
